After the completion of the restoration of Botocan-Caliraya Transmission line and the resumption of Botocan Units (B01,B02,B03) commercial operations last 25 February 2015, BHEPP Maintenance Plan for the Semi-Annual Routine Minor and Major Inspections were conducted to achieve and maintain the reliability and availability of the units.
The Semi-Annual Maintenance of all units and common auxiliaries were conducted last 15-19 June and 22-25 June 2015, respectively. This include the preventive, predictive and corrective works on the equipment.
The conditions of turbine runner, generator, bus ducts and transformers were checked through the conduct of predictive methods and were found to be in good condition. Unit over speed test for B01 and B02was also performed to ensure its functionality.B01’s Governor servomotor leak correction was also completed.
B01 and B02 were successfully put on line back to the grid last 19 and 25 June 2015, respectively.
